Entering the plumbing field in ‘98, I knew right away that I would never leave the construction trade. After plumbing for several years, in 2005 I obtained my gas license (G2). In early 2007, I was having a conversation with the owner (at the time) of Ideal Plumbing & Heating. I had expressed my interest in starting my own company. After some back and forth, Nick and I had decided to purchase Ideal Plumbing and Heating, as I knew the business well, being there for over a decade, and we could see ourselves enjoying ownership.

Since our takeover in 2007, we have focused on three things:

  1. The Customer. The customer must always win in everything we do. If not for our valuable customers, we wouldn’t be here today. 
  2. The Employee. Our employees must also win. If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t be here today. 
  3. The Company. If the company doesn’t win, we wouldn’t be able to support the families of our employees, our own families, or help our customers. Therefore, we wouldn’t be here today.

I believe that maintaining focus on these three things, in that order, is what will keep us #1 in customer service and keep our customers recommending us to others! We truly have an elite team, and I am privileged to employ each and every one of them, from our pleasant office staff to our courteous service technicians and installers. I started working for a relative at a local heating company in 1990. In 1996, I attended Niagara College to pursue my career in the heating trade and obtain my G2 gas license. In 2001, I began working for Ideal Plumbing & Heating, which is where Mark and I met. We worked together for 2 years before I ventured off to work on my own. In 2006, Mark and I reunited as co-workers and decided to partner up and purchase Ideal Plumbing & Heating in 2007.

 

Our goals are to bring value and principle, and to be the best at what we do. We respect our customers and give them the best quality we can offer. Our hardworking, reliable employees who possess years of experience as well as our young apprentices are always ready to serve you.
